BPUB Announces Partial Road Closure on Hayes Street
BROWNSVILLE, TX – The Brownsville Public Utilities Board (BPUB) has scheduled a partial road closure on Hayes Street between East 17th Street and International Boulevard Tuesday, March 12 through Friday, March 15 to reroute a 6-inch water main line and relocate a fire hydrant.
BPUB crews will be working daily from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Motorists are advised to plan their routes in advance and follow all posted detour signs.
Residents of Hayes Street will maintain access to their homes throughout the duration of the work.
BPUB is committed to minimizing the inconvenience to the public and expects minimal disruption by coordinating this work with the Brownsville Independent School District’s spring break closure.
Please note no interruptions to customer services are expected due to these repairs.
