Chillers are refrigeration systems that produce chilled fluids that circulate chilled water to air-handler units. Fans push air across heat exchanger coils inside the air-handler units to cool and dehumidify the air.
Our program is designed to provide rebates for commercial electric customers who switch to air-cooled or water chillers. By upgrading to this system, you can reduce your energy consumption and save money on your electric bill. Not only that, but you'll also be doing your part to help the environment by reducing your carbon footprint.
Benefits of installing an air-cooled water chiller
A chiller is a more efficient and effective cooling option than a rooftop unit because it circulates
water to air handlers and typically can control supply air temperatures more consistently.

- Complete and submit this application, submit the HVAC system's manufacturer's information and purchase the contractor's invoice & AHRI Certificate.
- A post-inspection will be performed to confirm installation and qualifying equipment.
- Applications must be completed and submitted within 90 days of installation of unit.
- The rebate will be processed within 3-5 weeks.
- The rebate amount cannot exceed $25,000 per entity per fiscal year.
