The Billing Summary is located on page 1 of the BPUB electric bill. Here, BPUB lets the customer know the day their bill was sent and the days for which they are being charged, along with the number of days total that their energy is being accounted for. If the billing period includes the period during the winter storm, then the bill includes any electricity used during that time period.
Previous Balance: Amount of previously billed charges.
Account: our billing system issues your account number.
Payments made during the current billing period.
Adjustments: Any other monetary transactions made during the current billing period.
Penalties: Any penalties assessed if the last month's bill was paid after the past due date.
Current Charges: Total of current month's charges.
Amount Due -Amount currently due.
Summary of Charges: Summary of charges by service.
Other Amounts: Other additional information pertaining to your account.
Payment Stub: Payment stub should be included with payment for proper credit.
SHARE Contributions: The amount the customer wishes to contribute to BPUB's SHARE Fund. This fund is used to assist families in an emergency with partial payment of their bill.
Past Due Date: Bills are due when issued and considered past due after 20 days from the issue date.
