BPUB Announces Emergency Road Closure on Ruben M Torres Blvd
BROWNSVILLE, TX – The Brownsville Public Utilities Board (BPUB) is announcing an emergency road closure for motorists traveling on Ruben M. Torres Blvd. Both northbound and southbound lanes between Old Port Isabel and Robindale Road will be temporarily closed as BPUB crews repair a 16 inch water line that was struck by a fiber installation contractor.
The closure is expected to last for approximately 6 hours.
Detour Information:
Northbound Motorists: Those traveling northbound on Ruben M. Torres Blvd. are advised to take a detour through Old Port Isabel.
Southbound Motorists: Those heading southbound can divert their route through Robindale Rd.
