The Robindale Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) expansion and renovation will help BPUB to meet the sewage demands of its growing community.

This project will increase the treatment capacity at the Robindale plant from 10 million gallons per day (MGD) to 14.5 MGD. In addition, a new state-of-the-art ultraviolet disinfection system will reduce the plant’s dependence on chemical disinfectants. A new odor control system will also be built to minimize foul odors through the use of a filtration tower. This should help to minimize the odor in the area of the Robindale plant.
