BPUB Lobby Remains Closed Due to Staff Shortages
The Brownsville Public Utilities Board (BPUB) Administration Building lobby remains closed to customers due to staff shortages in the Customer Service Department. We continue assessing the situation and working to bring staff levels back to normal.
Customer Service will not accept in-person appointments until further notice. Customers may continue to conduct business with BPUB through its online services by calling Customer Service at 956-983-6121 or emailing [email protected]. Payments can be made online, through the Drive-up lanes, via the payment drop box or at the pay stations throughout town. A complete listing of pay stations and payment options is available on the BPUB website.
Customers can check their most recent balance and perform additional account functions, such as new service requests, updates to existing services or service cancellations, through BPUB’s Online Account Portal.
To report service-related issues, Customers can save the BPUB web app to their phones. The web app is accessible at https://assist.brownsville-pub.com and can be added to the home screen of any mobile device for easy access.
BPUB apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause. Customers can rest assured that BPUB is working diligently to bring customer service operations back to normal as soon as possible.
