  • FM 511 Road Closure Expected to Finish by End of July

    Brownsville Public Utilities Board (BPUB) contractors announced the temporary closure of FM 511 at the Boca Chica Boulevard intersection is now expected to open by the end of July. JM Construction has temporarily closed FM 511 on the north side of Boca Chica Boulevard to install sanitary sewer utility lines.

  • BPUB Announces I-69E/US77/83 Temporary Lane Closure

    The Brownsville Public Utilities Board (BPUB) will temporarily close the northbound and southbound lanes of I-69E/US77/83 from Stillman Road to FM 1732 (Anacua Street) on Sunday, June 19, 2016, 3-8 a.m., while crews install a fiber optic line. Northbound and southbound traffic on I-69E/US77/83 will be reduced to one lane until work is complete.
