Fire Hydrant Replacement

Print

firehyThe Brownsville Public Utilities Board (BPUB) fire hydrant replacement project is an effort ensure hydrants all over the city are in good working condition and don’t leak. Over time, hydrants can develop water leaks. Replacing hydrants reduces water loss and increases water availability.

Residents living in the area where the work is being done could see temporary water interruption. BPUB apologizes for any inconvenience this work may cause and wants to assure residents the work will ensure safe operations of these hydrants. Fliers will be distributed to affected residents; costumers can check here to see project updates.
