Payment
Options
BPUB
has created a world of options to make paying your bill easier.
You may pay your bill online.
Please read field collections and returned
check policies.
DIRECT PAY
Direct Pay allows customers to pay their utility bills without the
hassle of waiting in line or writing a check. Direct Pay allows for better budgeting
and one less bill to mail. In addition, you avoid the possibility
of a late fee.
Once
authorized by you, Brownsville PUB will draft your bank electronically
using a method called Electronic Funds Transfer
(EFT or ACH).
Even
though the due date of your bill may fluctuate slightly, your draft
date will remain fixed. This fixed draft date allows you to budget
your finances according to your cash flow. You can choose from several
dates that better suit your financial cycle for the withdrawal to
take place. Once the EFT is effective, there will be a message across
the top of the bill that says, "Direct Debit Bill. Do Not Pay."
This message will also appear on the remittance slip and on the
back of the bill in the message field. For this option, click the
button below, print the form, and fax it to 956-574-6101.

CREDIT
CARD PAYMENTS IN OFFICE ONLY
An
excellent way to avoid a late fee is through our credit card program.
For Visa or Mastercard holders, this method allows for instant payments
and no hassles.
PAYMENT
STATIONS
Brownsville
PUB has 31 payment stations throughout the City, such as those inside
HEB, Lopez and El Globo food stores to mention a few. A detailed
list and map of the authorized
payment stations are available. Please note: Payments
are processed on the day they are paid and should be for the full
amount. Payments are accepted up to five days past the due date.
Late fees are assessed with the next month's bill.
U.S. MAIL
Customers may remit payment through the U.S. Mail in the return
envelope provided by the Brownsville PUB. Payments will be sent
to a Wells Fargo processing center in Dallas, so please allow an
extra two to five days for payments to be received. Payments are
processed on the day received, not the postmark date.

- Sunday 24 hours a day / 7 days a week
Note: To better serve our customers, our drop box location has moved
as of December to the left of the drive-thru lanes instead of the
far right lane. An additional drop box has been added at the front
entrance of the main building.
*Payments
dropped off after 3pm will be processed the following business day.
To avoid disconnection, accounts with payment arrangements/extensions
or pending disconnect orders -- the night deposit box should not
be used on the date listed as the disconnect date.
For
your protection and the safety of our staff, please do not leave
cash in the drop box.
DRIVE
UP
As an added convenience, customers
can use one of five drive up lanes which are open Monday - Friday
from 8:00am - 6:00pm. Drive up is located on back of building.
