The Brownsville Public Utilities Board (BPUB) charges fees for connecting electric, water and sanitary sewer services (or some combination, thereof) to most addresses inside the city limits. We also provide some of these services to locations in our extra territorial jurisdiction (ETJ.) You may call the BPUB Customer Service Department at (956) 983-6121 to inquire about utilities provided at a particular location. All connection and reconnection service fees are considered non-refundable. However, deposits on residential accounts may be applied to an account or refunded after 12 months of "On-time" payments. Fees listed at the links below are the most common charges encountered by the majority of our customers. Other charges not specified here, may apply to site specific services.
