SERVING OUR COMMUNITY Quality services and friendly faces make the Brownsville PUB "Your Hometown Utility" because for over a century, we've been providing essential services that make our houses homes. The Brownsville PUB serves over 50,000 customers in the Brownsville area, most of which are residences and commercial businesses. Brownsville PUB has given back to the community by sponsoring various charities and non-for-profit organizations, and giving millions of dollars of in-kind contributions. We provide funds for the City of Brownsville in utility services and cash transfers, thereby allowing Brownsville residents to benefit two-fold. The Brownsville Public Utilities Board's mission is to create value for customers and the community as the provider of choice for utility services. BPUB has built its reputation on providing quality electric, water, and wastewater services.
